My experience with Plastic Surgery in Dallas

My experience with a plastic surgeon in Dallas has been absolutely fantastic. I went to see Dr. Rod Rohrich at the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute for a rhinoplasty and turbinate resection. Turbinate resection is when enlarged bones inside the nose are carved down to an appropriate size. I was having severe problems breathing, to the point that I could not get a breathe in through the left nostril. My nasal septum was deviated, secondary to sports trauma, and hereditary factors. Both my Dad and brother have had the same issue. Anyway, since I was going to need work on my deviated septum, I asked Dr. Rohrich to make the tip of my nose cosmetically more pleasing. Dr. Rohrich is the Chief of Plastic Surgery at UT Southwestern, and has written one of the authoritative texts on surgery of the nose. However, I asked an anesthesiologist friend of mine who he thought was the best plastic surgeon he had worked with, and he responsed that it was either Dr. Rohrich or one of his partners. Anyway, everything about the experience with Dr.Rohrich was great, including his staff, the surgical suite, and post-operative follow-up. A word to the wise, rhinoplasty seems like a little deal but it is not the most comfortable procedure to deal with, and it really takes about 6 months to get over it. However, I am very happy with the results, and my breathing has been great. I highly recommend Dr. Rohrich
